Superintendent's Update

Welcome Back, EHT Families and Community!

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Members of the Egg Harbor Township Community,

A very warm welcome to the 2026–27 school year! As our schools come alive with the energy of our students and staff, I am excited for the year ahead and all that we will accomplish together.

Our mission continues to guide us: Embrace, Engage, and Educate.

We will Embrace every student by building relationships and creating safe, welcoming schools where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.

We will Engage students through meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, encourage them to discover their strengths, and prepare them for their future.

We will Educate with high expectations and a commitment to helping every student reach his or her fullest potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.

This year, we are also focusing our work around three district learning goals:

  • Improve Student Achievement – strengthening teaching and learning so every student can grow and succeed.
  • Positive Climate and Culture – creating schools built on safety, respect, responsibility, belonging, and strong relationships.
  • Parent and Community Partnerships – working together with families and our community to provide greater opportunities and support for our students.

We know that our greatest success comes when schools, families, and the community work together. Your partnership, involvement, and support make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

To our students: dream big, work hard, be kind, and make the most of every opportunity.

To our families: thank you for trusting us and for being an important part of your child's educational journey.

To our staff: thank you for the passion, dedication, and care you bring to our students every day.

I am confident that together we will make the 2026–27 school year one filled with learning, growth, achievement, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Here’s to an amazing school year for an amazing EHT community!

With warm regards and #EHTPride,

Kimberly A. Gruccio, Ed.D.

Student Achievement

Through the collaborative work of Professional Learning Teams (PLTs), we will provide every student with a guaranteed and viable learning experience. By implementing Essential Standards, aligned curriculum, common assessments, proficiency-based grading practices, and a responsive Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), educators will use evidence of student learning to continuously improve instruction, respond to individual student needs, and ensure high levels of learning for all students.

Climate and Culture

Guided by our SOAR values—Safety, Ownership, Accountability, and Respect—and reinforced through WINGS, we will foster safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where students and staff feel valued, connected, and empowered. We will promote positive relationships, celebrate growth and achievement, and cultivate a culture of belonging that supports the success of every learner.
