We are back in action!

Spring Break gave us more than a week to recharge, this is a fresh new start for all of us — an opportunity to refocus, re-energize, and finish the year strong.

As we return, we have approximately 2.5 months remaining in the school year. This is a critical window of time. There is important work ahead as we continue to support our students in reaching grade-level expectations and preparing them for success for their next school year.

We are excited and ready to soar toward improved student achievement. Each lesson will have intent to move students forward. Together, we will make these final months impactful and successful.

As we begin the new school year, we would like to take a moment to remind the school community of our district’s no cell phone policy during the school day. This decision was made with one clear purpose: to keep our students focused on learning, socializing face-to-face, and fully engaging in the classroom experience.

Our mission in the Egg Harbor Township School District is to embrace families and their

students to provide a safe, rigorous, and relevant learning experience while students are engaged and educated to become responsible for their own learning.

We believe literacy is the foundation for all future success. By integrating innovative

teaching practices, common assessments, the MTSS framework, universal screening, data collection and analysis, and professional learning teams, we will empower every student to become a confident reader, writer, and communicator. Alongside academic excellence, we will instill expectations for student behavior and nurture social and emotional well-being, ensuring that all learners are prepared to thrive in school and in life.

Guided by our S.O.A.R. values—Safety, Ownership, Accountability, and Respect—we will foster a safe, inclusive, and culturally rich learning environment. Students will build life skills, character, and respect for diversity through learning and celebrations that honor all people and cultures. We will recognize progress and achievements to reinforce positive behavior, strengthen school pride, and create a true sense of belonging.

Stakeholder Partnerships– We will strengthen collaborative relationships with families, staff, community organizations, businesses, and government agencies to enhance student learning, activities, and athletics. Together,

we will align our goals and commitments to support the success of every student.
