My name is Geranor Pezzotti-Venafro and for the school year of 2009-2010, I will be teaching Spanish Basics, Spanish 1B and College Prep I.
I graduated from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. I majored in Spanish and minored in Latin American and Caribbean studies.
Clases
Español Básico
This course is
designed for those who have difficulties succeeding in the Spanish Basics
course. Students who have trouble in reading comprehension or in writing should
take this course. It will expose them to
the basic elements of the Spanish language and culture with a main emphasis on
developing oral proficiency.
Español 1B
The Spanish 1B course provides the student with the fundamentals of pronunciation, intonation, listening and composition. Many highlights of the Hispanic culture and civilization are presented through class discussion, lecture, supplementary readings, CDS and films.
Español College
Prep 1
The
College Prep I course provides the student with the fundamentals of
pronunciation an intonation. All four
skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) will be emphasized and
learned in communicative context through a multi-media approach. Students will be introduced to aspects of
Hispanic culture from a variety of Latin American countries, Spain, México and
various part of the United States.
