Jersey Junior Classical League and the National Junior Classical League, which permits
them to compete in state academic competitions and to attend the State Latin
Convention. Every year students attend Venus
de Volleyball, an evening volleyball competition combined with the Southern
Regional New Jersey Classical League Meeting, Certamen, an academic competition
which will be held at Princeton University , and a Saturday of academic, art,
costume, and athletic competitions, ending with a chariot race, at the State
Latin Convention. Egg Harbor Township
hosted this convention in 2004 for 25 New Jersey schools and 500 students.
Students with an A average
through their third year of Latin are eligible to be inducted into the National
