Nancy Lopez:  Golfer (b. 1957)  Nancy Lopez was born in California, and her father emigrated from Mexico.  She began playing golf when she was only eight years old.  She won several more competitions.  Nancy was named Rookie of the Year, and she is a four-time Player of the Year.  In 1989, she was elected to the PGA World Golf Hall of Fame.  Nancy has won 48 golf titles.
