EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP (August 11, 2008) – The Community Partnership for Egg Harbor Township Schools has elected two new officers and added two members during its May and July meetings.
The Board elected Louis DeScioli of Egg Harbor Township as Chairman. He succeeds outgoing Chairman Peter E. Castellano, Egg Harbor Township Board of Education member, who founded the organization in 2006 and will remain a member of the Community Partnership Board. DeScioli is a realtor with Prudential Fox & Roach and is also the owner of the Somers Point and Upper Township Custard Hut ice cream retail stores.

) - Winter Ball Dinner Dance and Silent Auction Fundraiser Raises More Than $21,000 for Egg Harbor Township Schools. Approximately 125 people attended the black-tie optional Winter Ball and Silent Auction held February 23 at the Hidden Creek Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township. Co-hosted by Shore Memorial Hospital and the Community Partnership for Egg Harbor Township Schools, Inc., the event raised more than $21,000 for Egg Harbor Township Schools including nearly $4,000 in silent auction proceeds.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP (November 27, 2007) - The Community Partnership for Egg Harbor Township Schools, Inc. will host a Winter Ball on Saturday, February 23, at the prestigious and private Hidden Creek Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township, to raise funds for the local public school system. Co-hosted by Lou DeScioli and Chuck Donovan, the black-tie optional evening promises a hors d’oeuvres and cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, dessert and dancing. Carl Granieri Orchestras, who have played at inaugural presidential galas and have shared the stage with many showstoppers including Luciano Pavarotti, Elton John, Julio Iglesias, Cher, Bob Hope, and Diana Ross, will provide the entertainment.

Allocates $15,000 to the Egg Harbor Township School District in First Year — Since it’s inception in 2006, the Community Partnership for Egg Harbor Township Schools, Inc. has allocated approximately $15,000 to the Egg Harbor Township School District.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP (May 1, 2007) - Naming Opportunities Now Available Throughout Egg Harbor Township School District — With the influx of new homes and new students, mandated development, and drastic cuts in State and Federal aid to education, the largest school district in Atlantic County, N.J. will turn to Naming Opportunities to supplement future essential building projects, academic enhancements, technology upgrades, extra-curricular activities, and other capital improvements.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP (September 20, 2006) - Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation donated more than $6,300 to the Community Partnership for Egg Harbor Township Schools, Inc. September 26 to fund the addition of two portable Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for the Egg Harbor Township School District.
The Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation allows the entire community to share in the growth of Ocean City Home Bank and enhance the strong partnership the Bank has already created in the community.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ (August 25, 2006) - The Egg Harbor Township Elks Lodge #2563 donated $2,500 to the Community Partnership for Egg Harbor Township Schools, Inc. on Thursday in support of a new initiative to institute a curriculum-based pilot program with Atlantic Riding Center for the Handicapped (A.R.C.H.). The program will pair at-risk and special needs students of Egg Harbor Township.
