Preschool LotteryThe Egg Harbor Township School District offers an integrated preschool program to typically developing 4-year-old children who reside in Egg Harbor Township. Morning and afternoon classes will be offered at the H. R. Swift School, C. J. Davenport Primary School, and the E. H. Slaybaugh Primary School Monday - Friday. Transportation will not be provided. Application forms are available at the main offices of each school beginning Friday, May 18, 2012. Applications will also be available on the Egg Harbor Township School website at www.eht.k12.nj.us . All applications are to be dropped off or mailed to the Davenport District Office at: 2499 Spruce Avenue, Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 08234 Attn: PS Lottery and must be in no later than Friday June 8, 2012. The drawing will be held at the Davenport District Office-Primary building on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 10:00 am. Parents do not need to be present for the drawing. Lottery winners will be notified by mail. A birth certificate and three proofs of residency will be required for those students who are selected. You will need to schedule your registration appointment by June 22, 2012 and registration will be held from June 25 to July 11, 2012, by appointment only. Upon your selection, all information will come via mail. If your child is not selected during the Lottery process, they will be placed on a waiting list. ***Due to budgetary constraints, the district will charge a fee for participation in the preschool lottery program. The fee will be $200 per month payable in advance each month. A $200 non-refundable deposit will be due upon registration in the program and it will be applied only to the June tuition.*** |
